Job description:
This position is for a managing position in the Quality Operations Validation department.
The successful candidate will manage validation of equipment; development of sterilization/cleaning cycles for new processes or equipment; testing and documents results for review by site, corporate and governmental review. The applicant will also pursue increased familiarity with equipment in order to authoritatively explain their function and design.
Qualification:
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree in Microbiology, Engineering, Pharmacy or related science and 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training.
- TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of cGMP, general knowledge of regulatory guidance documents.
Sound working knowledge of the operation of various processing equipment, for example (but not limited to) the following: cleaning (CIP &COP) equipment, washers, sterilizers, depyrogenation oven, fillers, formulation mixing systems, HVAC systems, incubators, freezers, refrigerators, assembly equipment, labeling/packaging equipment, ancillary and integrated inspection equipment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Projects)
The Manager will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail, along with written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility and relationship building skills.
