Job description:
The applicant will be responsible for Regulatory Affairs activities for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare OTC drug products in the US.
The successful candidate will evaluate new product opportunities for North America brought through Business Development, Global New Products and the Global Franchise Teams.
Qualification:
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelors degree is required, preferably in a life science related major.
Advanced degrees in a Life Science, but degrees in other disciplines will be considered with equivalent level of experience in regulatory affairs.
2-3 years of regulatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Consumer Healthcare experience preferred.
- TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
A thorough understanding of FDA regulations pertaining to cosmetics, OTC drug monographs and INDs/NDAs.
Able to handle multiple projects and exercise good judgment in prioritizing tasks.
Demonstrate the ability to research and analyze information and develop regulatory strategies.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a group setting, and to interact effectively with various functional groups.
Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) and the ability to identify and recommend solutions to problems.
