• Job description
The Manager of QC Operations will have responsibility for multiple laboratory functions which support the entire Quality Control department including stability and information systems.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Oversee and develop staff and systems that ensure that day-to-day testing operations are efficient, compliant, and meet established performance standards
• Managing staff performance and planning for QC Operations
• Leading compliance and operational improvement efforts in QC,
• Participating on site project teams
• Identifying and implementing industry best practices for QC Operations.
• Required skills
• An understanding of QC laboratory systems and processes
• A knowledge of microbiological controls
• A working knowledge of cGMPs, pharmacopoeia, and regulatory requirements relevant to the manufacture and testing of bio / pharmaceutical products
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Good working knowledge of statistics is desired.
• Required qualifications and Experience
With a degree in a scientific field or equivalent (pharmacist degree, biochemistry degree) , you will have experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry in a quality focused function. A relevant experience in process management and quality control is required.
